What is the Lifesong/Both Hands commitment to you?

• Provide an innovative method to help remove the financial barrier to your adoption
• 100% of the funds donated will be used for your adoption expenses
• Provide step by step fund-raising instruction and support to
  • Find the widow to benefit from the home improvement/landscaping event
  • Coordinate the Project Management

   

What is the adoptive family’s role/involvement?

• Identify 10 volunteers (friends, family, etc.) who will:
  • Send sponsorship letters
  • Work 1 day on a widow’s house

   

How is the widow helped?

• A significant home improvement / landscaping event
• Encouragement and love support

How does this help fund our adoption?

All funds raised through the Lifesong/Both Hands sponsorship will be used to cover your adoption expenses. Based on prior history, the Both Hands project would help generate $10,000+ (on average) for your adoption.

• 100% will be given as a Lifesong Adoption Grant
  

If the amount raised exceeds your total adoption costs, then those funds would be directed to another approved Lifesong Adoption Grant/Loan applicant.

Next Steps:

Apply for assistance through the Lifesong/Both Hands partnership. Receive approval by Lifesong for “Both Hands – Fundraising Support.” Your application/contact info will be forwarded to Both Hands to begin the Both Hands renovation project.
