Build & Operate a Group Home

There are so many orphans and homeless kids in Ziway. It is impossible not to be touched by their dire living conditions, often on the street begging and hoping to find a few discarded morsels of food.

A friend of ours took one homeless boy to school, paid his school fees, and gave him a shower and new clothes. Expecting to find him in school the next day, he discovered the boy had disappeared. A few days later he surfaced again wearing his old clothes. We suspect he went somewhere to sell his new clothes and lived for a few days off that money and then returned to his begging. He has not continued in school.

In order to help out orphans and children in similar circumstances, Misgana Ministries wants to build a home for twelve orphan kids. The cost to do this is quite high, so we are praying for supporters who would like to help with this project.

A blueprint for the proposed home is shown below:

An Ethiopian Christian couple will care for 12 double orphans (both parents are dead). Children in these homes receive three healthy meals a day, appropriate and comfortable beds and living conditions. Temesgin & his family (would be first set of Houseparents after Group Home is built)
