Gloria Gaston

Gloria Emma Mercy Gaston celebrated her 1st birthday on December 22, 2005 with her new family. Gloria was adopted from Guatemala on June 19, 2005. If she could talk, this is what Christyn (her mommy) thinks she would tell us at Lifesong:

How can I say what you mean to me?
Mama says God used you to give me a family.
"I have called you by name and you are mine" (Isaiah 43:1)

Mommy sings to me each night at bedtime. Surrounded by my family's love, now I can give love to others! "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God..." (1 John 4:7)

I know there are other orphans who would be treasured by other families, if not for the high cost of adoption. That makes me very sad. For helping me come home, we thank you, Lifesong, with all of our hearts. Mommy says that in the future, we will do our part to help others to be able to adopt. "Freely you have received, freely give" (Matthew 10:3)

Best of all, my forever family is leading me to His cross."In Thee, the fatherless find mercy." (Hosea 14:3)
