Meet our Speakers

Andy Lehman – Vice President

Andy Lehman is an orphan advocate and serves as Vice President of Lifesong for Orphans. Andy has been with Lifesong since it’s inception in 2002: developing partnerships, growing church relationships, launching new initiatives, speaking & global advocacy. Andy also serves on the Board of Directors for the Christian Alliance for Orphans & Orphan Sunday campaign, has been a guest on numerous Christian radio programs and has authored articles for the Focus on the Family and elsewhere.

Prior to his role at Lifesong, Andy served in a Human Resources at State Farm Insurance. As a couple they also served as house-parents at Gateway Woods, a Christian children’s home for at risk youth. Andy and his lovely wife Jill are adoptive parents have 4 children (two through adoption) – Travor, Haley, and Caleb, and Hope.

Rich Metcalfe – Program Director

Rich Metcalfe serves as Program Director for Lifesong for Orphans, a position he has filled since late 2010. Rich has been married to his beautiful wife Becky for 19 years and they have 6 amazing children. Prior to joining the Lifesong team, Rich served as a missionary in England for 11 years.

He is thankful for the opportunity he has to connect churches and individuals with the Father’s heart for the orphan and the need around the world. There is so much to be done, and the Lord has chosen the Church to be His vessel in meeting the need.

Keith McAfee – Director, Southeast Region

Keith McAfee serves as Director, Southeast Region, for Lifesong for Orphans, and his office is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Prior to joining the Lifesong team, Keith worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as both an Air Traffic Controller and then as a facility manager. Currently, he also serves on the Board of Directors for the Chattanooga Office of Bethany Christian Adoption Services.

Keith has been married to his wonderful wife, Holly, for 19 years and they have four children – Austin, Chloe, AJ and Claire. In addition to being an adoptee, Keith is also an adoptive dad of a little girl from South Korea. Keith’s calling is to be a voice for orphans and widow around the world.

Leah Feller – Communications Coordinator

Leah Feller serves as Lifesong for Orphans’s Communications Coordinator, bringing awareness and passion to orphan & adoption advocates through blogging and social media.  After two consecutive summer trips to Lifesong Ukraine, she ‘caught the Lifesong vision’ and joined the Lifesong team after obtaining her degree from Purdue University.

Leah married her handsome hubby Ross in 2011 and lives in Ft. Wayne, IN. She is thankful to work remotely and counts it all joy to be able to serve at Lifesong, playing just a small part in God’s big picture of bringing joy and purpose to the orphan.
