Mission and Purpose Statement
Both Hands’ mission is to serve widows, orphans, and adoptive families.
Both Hands’ purpose is to help people raise funds for orphans while serving widows through home improvement projects. (Visit Both Hands Website)
Types of Both Hands Projects
- Both Hands for Families – Funds raised benefit specific adopting family
- Both Hands for Churches – Funds raised benefit specific church adoption fund
- Both Hands for Orphan Care - Funds raised benefit Lifesong orphanages and our general orphan care fund
What is the Lifesong/Both Hands Commitment to You?

Both Hands Creates Lasting Friendship! Read their story!
- Provide an innovative method to help raise funds for adoptions, church funds, or orphan care initiatives
- 100% of the funds donated will go towards adoption, church funds, or orphan care initiatives
- Provide step-by-step fundraising instruction and support to:
- Find the widow to benefit from the home improvement or landscaping event
- Coordinate the Project Management
What is the Team Leader’s Role/Involvement?
- Identify 10 or more volunteers (friends, family, church, etc) who will:
- Send sponsorship letters
- Work 1 day on a widow’s house

- Once you receive approval by Lifesong for “Both Hands Fundraising Support”, your application and contact info will be forwarded to Both Hands to begin the Both Hands project planning process.
