Has the Lord prompted your heart to consider moving overseas to serve children in need? Right now, Lifesong for Orphans is looking for people to GO and SERVE as missionaries all over the world. 

Is God calling you to serve the fatherless?

Our primary missionary needs are listed below, but we are always looking for additional staff to serve at various locations around the world. Primary Missionary Needs

Join one of our mission teams in-country for 2 to 4 years.  There are currently missionary roles in Ethiopia, Zambia and Haiti.


Program Director

We are seeking a missionary candidate(s) to serve in Ziway as our program director.  The program director will report to our board (Ethiopian Executive Committee), serve with our Ethiopian leadership team, and be responsible for general oversight of the program including:

Beneficial skills/experiences include:

Candidates will be required to go through a full missionary sending process including training, support raising, and culture/language learning in country.  At least an initial 3-5 year commitment will be required.

Zambia - Discipleship Gift

Country Project Director:

We are seeking missionary candidates to serve at Lifesong School in Zambia. The project has two schools which currently consist of 400 students each. Candidates will be a part of an established team of both international and indigenous staff.

Beneficial skills/experience include:

Cross-cultural training will be required. Previous leadership, administrative, and missionary experience is helpful. Educational background is not required.

Open Arms ministry is currently caring for 125 children. There is a local staff of 55, which help meet the daily needs of all the children. In addition to the school and medical needs, Open Arms has started an agricultural and hospitality business. We are seeking someone to assist with administration and logistics with both, that will, in turn help fund the ministry.

Beneficial skills/experience include:

Cross-cultural training will be required. Previous experience is helpful.
