YOU are invited to join us on a mission trip.
On a strawberry farm in the heart of Africa, a team of enthusiastic volunteers is gathering to use their resources, skills, and abilities … and you are invited to participate.
Lifesong Farms is a thriving, sustainable business that provides finances to maintain Lifesong School for Orphans as well as provide jobs for dedicated orphan caregivers.
As these hardworking caregivers have loved the fatherless, God has blessed the strawberry and fruit farm immeasurably–sending abundant harvest to be sold in top local grocery stores, restaurants, and markets.
While this agricultural opportunity has provided for some of the world’s most vulnerable–while simultaneously being salt and light to a community that desperately needs a hopeful future in Christ–we know there is much more work to be done.
Specifically, the basic need for a lavatory would go a long way in caring for the caregivers.
Our 40 full-time staff–mostly women–do not have running water in their homes or the ability to shower after a long, hot day in the dusty fruit fields. Our goal is to help build this facility on a mission trip. Here is the tentative schedule for the mission trip:
• Church, organize for project
• Work Project • Afternoons and Evenings will include Tours of Boys & Girls Boarding, Lifesong School and Ukubyala as well as Dinner in the Compound in homes of Farm Workers.
• Depart for USA or Livingstone/Victoria Falls
• Arrive USA OR Chobe Safari
• Depart for USA
We are still in need of construction workers, plumbers, and electricians. Would you consider using your time and skills to invest in this project?
