Serving Orphans In

Poland

Our ministry in Poland seeks to provide refuge to orphaned and vulnerable children while sharing the love and truth of the Gospel.

Many of the children we serve in Poland are Ukrainians who have been displaced by the war in Ukraine. Through several ministry outlets, we seek to care for them while they are living in the orphanage and as they transition into adult life.

Why We Serve in Poland

Poland is located in central Europe, Ukraine’s neighbor to the West. Today, more than 8 million Ukrainian refugees have entered Poland due to the war in Ukraine. Some of these refugees include Ukrainian orphans and vulnerable children. Due to the war, there are an especially large number of vulnerable children who have lost homes, parents, and safety now in Poland.

What We Strive to Provide to Every Child We Serve

Our belief in God and His grace in our lives energizes us for a specific work. With God’s help, every child we serve will be taught the gospel and how to be followers of Christ, not want for food, shelter, medical care, and clothing, receive a quality education to provide a foundation for their future, and have access to continued love and support while transitioning into adult living.

Key Areas of Ministry in Poland

Discipleship

We offer year-round camps for orphaned and vulnerable kids to learn about God through fun and age-appropriate activities, like equine-assisted therapy and all kinds of sports. All camp counselors are Lifesong staff and Christian volunteers. Ultimately, our hope is to foster future connections and offer Gospel-centered support as these kids transition into adulthood.

Education

Through our “Constant Christian Presence” program (CCP), our team provides after-school classes to help orphaned and vulnerable children develop socially, emotionally, and spiritually. We offer one-on-one and group discipleship opportunities and hold music, crafting, sports, English, cooking, job skills, and Bible classes.

Safe Homes

Young adults often age out of the orphanage with little to no idea what they’ll do next. Our transition homes are a safe place for these graduates to grow in their independence and, more importantly, their faith. The family setting is filled with group and personal discipleship, so they can build firm relationships with God and other believers.

Integration Center

We provide holistic care to Ukrainian refugees so they can continue to live, work, and support their families in a new place. They have access to an array of services, including language and culture classes that help them feel confident in their new social and work environments.

“I loved our Polish lessons so much that I just ran to them as quickly as possible. Now I can communicate with nice people and get help and support. And this is very valuable.”
